The Role 

At Matrix Renewables we are looking for a highly motivated individual to play a key role supporting our Project Storage Business Development area in Italy. Based in Rome, the Italy Batteries development associate will be assisting business development activities over Matrix’s portfolio of projects in Italy, reporting to Matrix’s VP, Business Development Storage & Hydrogen, based in Madrid. The Candidate will be monitoring compliance with contractual obligations and assessing the quality of work done by with Matrix’s developers, assisting in the ordinary corporate and administrative obligations, liaising with external advisors, and assisting to M&A, financing and operation teams when required. The Candidate would also use their experience and intelligence to identify risks and to guide Matrix in understanding the risks that these projects face. The candidate must be familiar with all aspects of the development of renewable energy projects in the country, either wind or solar. During the development phase, the candidate will collaborate with in-house Matrix and external teams to ensure that projects obtain all the permits, authorizations, and licenses necessary to reach Ready to Build (“RTB”) status, on time. 

Key activities and responsibilities: 

• Day-to-day activities in Storage Business Development in Italy 

• Analyze and control greenfield project opportunities (land securing and interconnection procedures) and other early-stage project development activities. 

• Ensure projects’ VDR are updated with relevant documentation through each project development stage. 

• Help tracking development status of projects in its pipeline, liaising with developers to help to deliver projects to RTB on time. 

• Controlling internal and external development costs & budgeting. 

• Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and assessing the quality of work done by Matrix’s developers. 

• Project scheduling management through activities definition, sequencing, resources, and duration estimation 

• Management of community and public relations in respect of the Project 

• Help to implement ESG Company policy at local level in compliance with modern standards, regulations, and best industry practice. Flag to ESG team any issues as soon as possible, gather information related to them and where instructed interact with stakeholders if appropriate 

General Skills / Attributes: 

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, law or business. Master highly desirable 

• 3 years minimum of energy industry experience in business development, project administration, project management. 

• Full understanding of the development, construction, and operational processes for solar or wind projects in Italy. Experience in Storage development or construction will be a strong positive. 

• An ability to perform in a matrixed organization, working in interdepartmental teams to achieve objectives. 

• Solid communication skills: capability to establish technical discussions in different cultural environments. 

• Fluent in English & Italian. Spanish will be much appreciated. 

• Ability to travel through Italy to meet stakeholders around Matrix projects. 

Antes de unirse a Matrix en 2023, Drew trabajó como Consejero General Asociado en OCI Solar Power LLC – un desarrollador de energía solar y ESS con sede en San Antonio, Texas. Antes de OCI, Drew trabajó para una empresa de capital privado de petróleo y gas. Antes de estudiar Derecho, Drew sirvió en el Cuerpo de Marines de los Estados Unidos como piloto de helicóptero UH-1 y controlador aéreo avanzado.

Drew es licenciado en Estudios Internacionales por el Rhodes College de Memphis (Tennessee) y licenciado en Derecho por la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Baylor.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2021, Esteban was Business Development Manager in Renergetica Chile where he worked in all stages of development from origination to project selling negotiations. Previously he worked as consultant for LAS Energy and Project Manager in SOLEK.

Esteban holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Católica de La Santísima Concepción and also a Diploma in Foreign Trade Management from the same college.

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix Renewables en 2021, Miren fue auditora en Deloitte y posteriormente Controller en Enerfín Sociedad de Energía, donde elaboró y supervisó la contabilidad y los estados financieros de diferentes proyectos en España y Latinoamérica.

Miren es licenciada en Administración y Dirección de Empresas con un Máster en Estrategia Directiva por la Universidad Francisco de Vitoria y es Chartered Controller Analyst (CCA).

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2021, Beatriz fue Directora de Negocios de Nuevas Energías (Almacenamiento de Energía e Hidrógeno Verde) de Capital Energy. Antes de Capital Energy, Beatriz fue Coordinadora de Hidrógeno de Enagas y líder del Comité Técnico Industrial del Pilar de Energía de Hydrogen Europe.  También es experta independiente de la Comisión Europea y a nivel nacional.

Beatriz es Doctora en Ingeniería Química por la UCM (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) y tiene un Programa de Desarrollo Directivo de la EOI. Además, Beatriz tiene un máster en Automatización industrial.

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix Renewables en 2021, Sandeep fue Directora de Oficina y Recursos Humanos en V. Ships USA en Miami.

Sandeep tiene un MBA de la Escuela de Negocios de Maastricht y un BBA en Marketing de Intercollege, Chipre.

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix Renewables en 2021, Fátima fue asociada de Banca de Inversión en el Banco Santander. Anteriormente, trabajó en el departamento de Tax equity del Banco Santander.

Fátima tiene una doble licenciatura en Negocios y Relaciones Internacionales por la Universidad Nebrija (España). Además, Fátima tiene un Certificado de Cambridge Económico Empresarial por la Escuela de Derecho Garrigues y una Certificación de Servicios de Asesoramiento Financiero por el IE Business School.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2021, Sabas pertenecía al equipo de Desarrollo Corporativo y M&A de Iberdrola. Anteriormente, Sabas fue analista en el equipo de Energía e Infraestructura de Sigrun Partners.

Sabas tiene una doble titulación de E4 (Ciencias Empresariales Internacionales) en la Universidad ICADE y un BBA de la Neoma Business School.

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix Renewables, José trabajó para Gransolar Group, Airtificial e Inypsa. Ha sido director de desarrollo de proyectos de diferentes plantas de generación de energía y consultor medioambiental/energético. Ha cubierto no sólo proyectos de energías renovables (fotovoltaica, eólica o hidroeléctrica) sino también otras tecnologías de generación de energía. 

José es licenciado en Ingeniería Industrial por la UNED y la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2021, Fredy fue líder de proyectos fotovoltaicos en CELSIA. Adicionalmente, desempeñó diversas posiciones asociadas a la generación hidráulica y solar, transmisión, distribución y comercialización a lo largo de 35 años de experiencia, en compañías como CVC, EPSA y CELSIA. 

Fredy es ingeniero electricista con énfasis en ahorro energético de la Universidad Autónoma de Occidente de Colombia y posee un Master en Energías Renovables y Sostenibilidad Energética por la Universidad de Barcelona de España.

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix Renewables en 2021, Cindy fue vicepresidenta de fusiones y adquisiciones en NextEra Energy. Ocupó varios puestos de liderazgo en la empresa, incluyendo la dirección de las decisiones de inversión, la gestión de P/L para múltiples regiones, ayudando a desarrollar un negocio de transmisión competitivo y dirigiendo el desarrollo de la flota térmica fósil y solar de Florida Power & Light.

Anteriormente, fue vicepresidenta en la banca de inversión y trabajó como funcionaria en el Departamento de Estado de Estados Unidos.

Se licenció en la Universidad de Georgetown, obtuvo un máster en la Universidad de Columbia y un MBA en la Harvard Business School. Es miembro vitalicio del Consejo de Relaciones Exteriores.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2021, Mariano worked at Naturgy in different positions for more than 12 years. Most recently in the long-term LNG procurement unit and previously as project manager, in Spain, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico.

Mariano holds a degree in Mining Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, specialising in Energy and Fuels.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2021, Esteban fue Gerente de Desarrollo de Negocios en Renergetica Chile donde trabajó en todas las etapas de desarrollo desde la originación hasta las negociaciones de venta de proyectos. Anteriormente trabajó como consultor para LAS Energy y como Gerente de Proyectos en SOLEK.

Esteban es Ingeniero Industrial por la Universidad Católica de La Santísima Concepción y Diplomado en Gestión de Comercio Exterior por la misma universidad.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2021, Miren was an auditor at Deloitte and later Controller at Enerfín Sociedad de Energía, where she prepared and supervised the accounting and financial statements of different projects in Spain and Latin America.

Miren holds a degree in Business Administration and Management with a Masters in Management Strategy from the Francisco de Vitoria University and is a Chartered Controller Analyst (CCA).

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2021, Beatriz was New Energy Business Director (Energy Storage & Green Hydrogen) of Capital Energy. Prior to Capital Energy, Beatriz was Hydrogen Coordinator of Enagas and Hydrogen Europe Industrial Technical Committee leader of the Energy Pillar. She is also Independent Expert of the European Commission and at National level.

Beatriz holds a Phd in Chemical Engineering from the UCM (Complutense University of Madrid) and a Management Development Program from EOI. In addition, Beatriz holds a master’s degree in industrial Automation.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2021, Sandeep was Office and Human Resources Manager at V. Ships USA in Miami.

Sandeep holds an MBA from Maastricht School of Business and BBA in Marketing from Intercollege, Cyprus.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2021, Fátima was and Investment Banking Associate at Banco Santander, Previously, she worked in the Tax equity department at Banco Santander.

Fátima holds a dual BA in Business and International Relations from Universidad Nebrija (Spain).

In addition, Fátima holds a Business Economic Cambridge Certificate by Garrigues Law School and a Financial Advisory Services Certification by the IE Business School.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2021, Sabas was part of Iberdrola’s Corporate Development and M&A team. Prior to that, Sabas was an analyst in the Energy & Infrastructure team at Sigrun Partners. 

Sabas holds a dual degree of E4 (business management) in ICADE University and a BBA from Neoma Business School.

Prior to joining to Matrix Renewables, Jose worked for Gransolar Group, Airtificial, and Inypsa. He has been project development manager of different power generation plants and environmental/energy consultor. He has covered not only renewable energy projects (PV, wind, or hydro) but also other power generation technologies.

Jose holds a MSc and BSc in Industrial Engineering at UNED and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2021, Fredy was a PV project leader at CELSIA. In addition, he held various positions associated with hydro and solar generation, transmission, distribution and commercialisation over 35 years of experience in companies such as CVC, EPSA and CELSIA.

Fredy is an electrical engineer with an emphasis on energy saving from the Universidad Autónoma de Occidente de Colombia and holds a Master’s degree in Renewables Energies and Energy Sustainability from the University of Barcelona in Spain.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2021, Cindy was a Vice President of M&A at NextEra Energy.

She held several diverse leadership positions at the company including leading investment decisions, managing P/L for multiple regions, helping develop a competitive transmission business and heading development for Florida Power & Light’s fossil and solar thermal fleet.

Previously, she was a Vice President in investment banking and served as an official at the U.S. State Department.

She received a BS from Georgetown University, an MA from Columbia University and a MBA from the Harvard Business School. She is a lifetime member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2021, Sergio fue consultor energético en Indra, desarrollando proyectos de implantación de sistemas de monitorización EAM y CMMS para la gestión de activos, operación y mantenimiento de diferentes clientes dentro del mercado de energía, tanto convencional como renovable. 

Sergio es Ingeniero de Energía, con mención en Tecnologías Energéticas, por la Universidad de Vigo.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2021, Mariano trabajó en Naturgy desempeñando diferentes cargos durante más de 12 años. Recientemente en la unidad de aprovisionamiento de GNL de largo plazo y anteriormente como director de proyectos, en España, Brasil, Colombia y México.

Mariano es Ingeniero de Minas por la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, con especialidad en Energía y Combustibles.

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix Renewables en 2021, Patricia formaba parte de la Dirección de Cartera Energética Internacional en Acciona Energía. Anteriormente, Patricia trabajó en Clarity.ai como parte del equipo de investigación ESG.

Patricia tiene un Máster y una Licenciatura en Ingeniería Industrial por la Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICAI).

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2020, Javier fue Operations Manager  en Smartener, manejando la construcción y O&M de proyectos renovables en Perú, Uruguay y México. Javier ha trabajado en Renovables por más de 12 años, como Gerente de Proyectos, Director de Proyectos y Country Manager en Uruguay, y cubriendo varias tecnologías como la eólica, la solar y la hidroeléctrica.  

Javier es Ingeniero Mecánico por la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid y posee un Master en Ingeniería Mecánica por la Universidad de Cranfield, así como un Programa Ejecutivo en Energías Renovables en la Escuela de Organización Industrial de Madrid.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2021, Ashwin was a Finance and Investment analyst at Triple Oak Power, a renewable developer based in the U.S.

Ashwin holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Williams College.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2022, Morris was the Asset Management and IT Chief in oEnergy, managing a portfolio of 20 PMGD in Chile and designing an all in one web platform where the investors can monitoring all their assets.

Morris holds a Systems Engineer degree from the University Santiago Mariño in Venezuela.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2022, Gabriela was ERP Migration Coordinator at Cineplanet(Perú).

She also has experience in Energy Sector having worked in the Financial Accounting Area of “Enerfín Sociedad de Energía” and “Discelcide”.

Gabriela is a Certified Public Accountant at the Cesar Vallejo University in Lima-Peru and holds a Master`s Degree in Senior Management from the Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2022, David was COO of Urban Grid, and prior to that the COO of BayWa r.e. Solar Projects Americas. David has worked extensively in US and Mexico power markets, and done business in Europe, Latin America and Asia.

He received his BS in Biology and Chemistry from the University of South Alabama, and MBA from Colorado State University.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2022, Mazin was a Renewable Procurement Manager at Amazon. Mazin also worked at Nextera Energy as a Manager overseeing financial and valuation analysis for the company’s development M&A assets.

 Mazin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Queen’s University and is a CFA Charterholder.

Prior to joining Matrix in 2022, Iván was Project Manager Leader in Opdenergy.

Previously he worked in Aldesa Industrial and Cobra in Renewables projects, Substations and Distribution Lines.

Iván holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering at University of Oviedo and Executive Development Programme at IESE Business School in Madrid.

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix Renewables en 2021, Ashwin fue analista de finanzas e inversiones en Triple Oak Power, un promotor de energías renovables con sede en Estados Unidos.

Ashwin es licenciado en Economía y Ciencias Políticas por el Williams College.

Antes de unirse a Matrix en 2021, Jesús fue Asociado del equipo de inversiones de Sustainable Development Capital (SDCL) en Londres, donde trabajó en una amplia gama de operaciones en energías renovables a nivel global.
Anteriormente, trabajó como Analista Senior de inversiones en Jenner Renewables – Denham Capital y anteriormente, Jesús comenzó su carrera en la división de Banca de Inversión del Banco Santander en Madrid.

Jesús tiene un grado en Derecho Global de la Universidad de Navarra y cursos de concentración en negocios y finanzas de la University College Dublin.

Prior to joining Matrix in 2021, Jesus was an Investment Associate at Sustainable Development Capital (SDCL) in London, where he worked in a broad range of investments and strategic transactions across sustainable energy globally. Previously, he worked as a Senior Analyst at Jenner Renewables – Denham Capital and prior to that, Jesus started his career in Santander’s Investment Banking division based out of Madrid.

Jesus holds a B.Sc. (JD) in Global Law from the University of Navarra and holds concentrated coursework in business and finance from the University College Dublin.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2021, Anella fue Asociada en Gomez Acebo & Pombo. Anteriorente fue Asesora Legal en Cubico Sustainable Investments en Londres trabajando en diferentes jurisdicciones e hizo un secondment en Watson Farley & Williams en Londres.

Anella cuenta con un doble grado en Derecho y ADE por la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2021, Patricia was part of the International Energy Portfolio Management at Acciona Energía. Previously, Patricia worked at Clarity.ai as part of the ESG research team.

Patricia holds a Master and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICAI).

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2021, Anella was Associate at Gomez Acebo & Pombo. Before that, she was Legal Advisor at Cubico Sustainable Investments in London, working throughout different jurisdictions and she had a secondment in Watson Farley & Williams in London.

Anella holds a double degree in Law and Business Administration by the University Carlos III University of Madrid.

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix en 2021, Elliot fue director de ingeniería de desarrollo de proyectos en Con Edison Clean Energy Businesses en San Diego, donde trabajó en el desarrollo y la construcción de proyectos de energía solar fotovoltaica a escala de servicios públicos y de almacenamiento en baterías. Anteriormente, Elliot fue ingeniero de proyectos en Sempra Renewables y desempeñó funciones de protección de sistemas y puesta en marcha y mantenimiento de subestaciones en Pepco Holdings.

Elliot tiene un máster en Ingeniería Eléctrica – Ingeniería de la Energía por la Universidad de Drexel, una licenciatura en Ingeniería Eléctrica por el College of New Jersey y un certificado en Gestión de la Ingeniería por la Universidad de Drexel.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2021, Jefferson fue Consejero General Asociado en RWE Renewables. Anteriormente, fue Asesor Jurídico Senior, Secretario y Vicepresidente en GE Renewable Energy; Asesor Jurídico y Director del negocio eólico norteamericano de ALSTOM; y Asesor Corporativo en Vermont Electric Power Company.

Se licenció en la Universidad de Richmond y se licenció en Derecho en el Centro de Derecho de la Universidad de Houston.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2021, Jefferson was Associate General Counsel at RWE Renewables. Previously, he was Senior Legal Counsel, Secretary & Vice President at GE Renewable Energy; Legal Counsel and Director for ALSTOM’s North American wind business; and Corporate Counsel at Vermont Electric Power Company.
He received a BA from the University of Richmond and a JD from the University of Houston Law Center.

Prior to joining Matrix in 2021, Elliot was the Manager of Project Development Engineering at Con Edison Clean Energy Businesses in San Diego where he worked on the development and construction of utility scale solar PV and battery storage projects. Prior to that, Elliot was a project engineer at Sempra Renewables and held roles in system protection and substation commissioning and maintenance at Pepco Holdings.

Elliot holds a MSc in Electrical Engineering – Power Engineering from Drexel University, a BSc in Electrical Engineering from The College of New Jersey, and a Certificate in Engineering Management from Drexel University.

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix Renewables en 2021, Silvia fue Directora de Transaction Services en Jenner Renewables y previamente Directora de Financiaciones Estructuradas en Forestalia donde participó en la estructuración, financiación y venta de una cartera importante de proyectos renovables. También ha trabajado en Globalvia y ACF.

Silvia es licenciada en Administración de Empresas por CUNEF y tiene un Programa Superior en Financiaciones Estructuradas y Private Equity por el IE.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2021, Silvia was Director of Transaction Services at Jenner Renewables and previously Director of Structured Finance at Forestalia where she was involved in the structuring, financing and sale of a significant portfolio of renewable projects. She has also worked at Globalvia and ACF.

Silvia holds a degree in Business Administration from CUNEF and an Advanced Programme in Structured Finance and Private Equity from IE.

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix Renewables en 2021, Belén fue Senior Associate en G-advisory, Belén cuenta con una amplia experiencia internacional, habiendo participando en proyectos para clientes tanto en España, como en otros países de Europa, Asia, América y Oceanía. Desde el año 2011, desarrolló su actividad en las oficinas de G-advisory en París y Madrid.

Belén es Ingeniera de Minas especializada en Energía por la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid y cuenta con un Master en Corporate Finance realizado en el Centro de Estudios Garrigues.

Prior to joining Matrix in 2021, Belén was Senior Associate in G-advisory.Along her professional career, she has acquired a broad international experience, participating in projects for clients not only in Spain, but also in other countries in Europe, Asia, the Americas and Oceania. Since 2011, she developed her activity in the offices of G-advisory in Paris and in Madrid.

Belén holds a degree in Mining Engineering (Energy specialisation), from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Master in Corporate Finance, from Centro de Estudios Garrigues.

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix Renewables en 2021, María fue Junior Controller en Grant Thornton, donde supervisaba la contabilidad y los informes financieros. Es licenciada en Administración de Empresas por la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2020, Bernat trabajó en PPA & Structured Origination, desarrollo de negocios y ventas de energía en energías renovables, así como en productos de electricidad en RWE, Solvay e Iberdrola entre otros.

Bernat tiene un MSc en Ingeniería de Telecomunicaciones de la UPC Barcelona, un MSc en Sistemas de Energía y Mercados asociados del Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble, así como un  Executive master’s degree  en Gestión de Mercados de Energía en la Ecole supérieur d’électricité (SUPELEC) – Paris

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2022, Mazin fue Gerente de Adquisición de Energías Renovables en Amazon. Mazin también trabajó en Nextera Energy como Gerente supervisando el análisis financiero y de valoración de los activos de desarrollo de fusiones y adquisiciones de la compañía.

 Mazin es licenciado en Comercio por la Queen’s University y es titular de la CFA.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2021, Mercedes was vice-secretary to the Board of Directors and legal counsel of Abengoa, a Spanish listed engineering and construction company with a wide experience worldwide in the energy and water sectors. Before that, she was Senior Manager at Uría Menéndez. 


Mercedes holds a dual degree in Law and Business Administration (E-3) by ICADE (Universidad Pontificia de Comillas-Madrid) 

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2020, Bernat worked in PPA & Structured Origination, business development and energy sales in renewable energy as well as electricity commodities in RWE, Solvay and Iberdrola among others.

Bernat holds a MSc in Telecommunication Engineering from the UPC Barcelona , a MSc in Energy Systems and associated Markets from the Institut National Polytechnique in Grenoble as well as an Executive master’s degree in Energy Markets Management at Ecole supérieur d’électricité (SUPELEC) – Paris

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2020, Sergio was Global Energy Coordinator at Grant Thornton where he supervised the accounting, financial reporting and international coordination of projects. 

He also has experience working internationally in the financial and renewable energy sector coordinating international teams. 

Sergio has an Economics degree from University Autonoma of Madrid and holds AAT Qualifications

Prior to joining Matrix in 2021, Javier was Project Manager and Development Manager at Sunco Colombia, before that he worked for Castellana de Proyectos Solares (Univergy) as Commercial Director and Development Manager.

Javier holds a diploma in livestock business management from the Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla and a diploma in senior management of agro-industrial units from the Fundación Universitaria San Martin de Barranquilla. 

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2020, Alejandro has worked as legal director and legal counsel in relevant players in the renewable energy business such as Canadian Solar, Cox Energy, Vestas and SunEdison, being based in Madrid (Spain) and Santiago (Chile). 

Alejandro holds a law degree from the University Carlos III of Madrid, and LLM diplomas from the IE Law School and the King´s College of London.

Prior to joining Matrix in 2021, Santiago was Managing Director Europe at Sunco Capital, having overall responsibility for origination, operations and asset management in Europe.

Previously, he was Head of Structured Finance and M&A at FRV (Fotowatio Renewables Ventures) for the Middle East and Africa regions. 

Santiago holds a Degree in Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia Comilllas (ICADE – E-2)

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2021, Pelayo was ESG Impact Manager at CDC Group (London) and immediately before he was a Sustainable Finance Manager at Standard Chartered Bank (London). 

Pelayo holds a MSc in Environmental Sciences at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and MSc in Environmental Engineering and Management at Escuela de Organización Industrial. Pelayo is also a qualified Occupational Health and Safety Specialist.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2021, Sergio was Technical Director in Aldesa Industrial where he worked in development, design, construction and maintenance of Renewables and Energy projects for more than 13 years in diverse markets such as Europe and Latin America. Previously he worked in Cobra in Substations and Distribution lines. 

Sergio holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering at Polytechnic University of Madrid and Executive Development Programme at IESE Business School in Madrid. 

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2020, Fernando was Senior Development Manager Solar PV at ENCE. Prior to this he was ENCE’s Country Manager in New Dheli, India where he was responsible for the development and implementation of the energy projects in India.

Fernando has a Bachelor’s degree on International Sales and Marketing by the University College of Northern Denmark (UCN) in Aalborg, Denmark.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2020, Paz was Industry Specialist at IFC and, immediately before that, working in IDB Invest as Investment Associate. Previously, she worked with Acciona in Spain and Peru. 

Paz holds an MBA from IE Business School, a MSc in Industrial Engineering from ICAI Comillas Pontifical University, a MSc in Management and Treatment of Water, Soil and Waste from ParisTech, and passed Level II of the CFA Program”.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2021, María was Junior Controller Accounting at Grant Thornton where she supervised the accounting and financial reporting. She has a degree on Business Administration by the Carlos III University in Madrid.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2020, Bárbara was the office Manager and EA to the CEO at Sloane and Cadogan Management in London.

Bárbara holds a law degree from the University of Seville.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2020, Álvaro was an analyst in Jenner Renewables, and BNP’s investment Banking division in London and Madrid before that. 

Álvaro holds a dual degree of E4 (business management) in ICADE University and a BBA from Lancaster University.

Prior to joining Matrix in early 2021, Ignacio was a VP in the investment team at the Green Investment Group (Macquarie) in New York, where he worked on acquisitions and divestitures across the solar PV, battery storage, onshore wind and offshore wind industries. Prior to that, Ignacio was a consultant in the energy team at Accenture, working in key strategic projects for leading energy companies and governments globally. 

Ignacio holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BA in Business Administration from Universidad de Cantabria.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2021, Rodrigo worked for companies such as Enel, Jenner Renewables, Enertis and Tecinsa, working in various positions associated with the construction, commissioning, operation and management of renewable energy projects and electrical substations in Chile, involved in technologies such as solar and wind.

Rodrigo holds a degree in electrical engineering in power systems from the Universidad de Oriente and a diploma in electrical protection from the Universidad Simón Bolívar, both located in Venezuela.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2020, Sergio was Head of Structuring and Financing at Trina Solar, working in solar PV transactions in Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia. Previously he worked for Santander Corporate & Investment Banking, Schroders and Credit Suisse in various roles based in Madrid, Santiago de Chile, London and New York.

Sergio holds a BA in Business Administration from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia and Universidad de Navarra in Spain and an MBA from IESE Business School.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2020, Caro was Managing Director and Board member of Alarde, a firm dedicated to development, construction, and exploitation of renewable energy power plants, and latterly she worked for Nice Tech, a startup with carbon footprint-reducing food processing technology. 

Caro holds an MBA from Stanford University, CA and a BA in Business from the European Business School in Madrid, Paris and London.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2021, Luis was COO of NEXTracker. Prior to Nextracker, Luis was VP, CFO and COO of SunEdison’s C&I division in San Francisco. Prior to that, he was COO of the EMEA and Latam region.

Luis holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Comillas Pontifical University and a PDD in General Management from IESE Business School. In addition, Luis graduated from the Centro de Estudios Financieros de Madrid with a Master in Health and Safety.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2020, Iñigo was Head of M&A and Head of Latam at Trina ISBU  and immediately before, Head of M&A for EMEA and Latam at  Sunedison where he was a key team member for the Terraform Power and Global IPOs. He has also worked with Greentech Energy Systems, PwC, Grant Thornton and Banco Santander. 

Iñigo has a Master Degree in Financial Markets and a BA degree in  Business Administration at the Royal School Maria Cristina.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2020, Chris was in charge of business development for Jenner Renewables, and Mainstream Renewable Power before that.  He has worked in diverse markets such as Europe, Latin America, North America, Africa, and in a range of renewable technologies including wind, solar, biomass and hydro.  

Chris studied Mechanical Engineering at Cambridge University.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2020, Javier was Operations Manager in Smartener, managing the Construction and O&M of renewable projects in Perú, Uruguay and Mexico. Previously Javier has been working in Renewables for more than 12 years, as Project Manager, Project Director and Country Manger in Uruguay, and covering various technologies such as wind, solar, and hydro.  

Javier holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering at Universidad Politecnica de Madrid and MSc in Mechanical Engineering at Cranfield University, as well as an Executive Programme in Renewable Energies at Escuela de Organización Industrial in Madrid.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2021, Sergio was an Energy Consultant at Indra, working in the rollout of EAM and CMMS monitoring systems for assets, operation & maintenance management with different clients within the energy market, both conventional and renewable.

Sergio holds an Energy Engineering degree, with mention in Energy Technologies, from the University of Vigo.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2020, Sergio fue Coordinador de Energía Global en Grant Thornton, donde supervisó la contabilidad, los informes financieros y la coordinación internacional de los proyectos. 

También tiene experiencia trabajando internacionalmente en el sector financiero y de energía renovable coordinando equipos internacionales. 

Sergio es licenciado en Económicas por la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid y posee el título de AAT

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2020, Álvaro fue analista en Jenner Renewables, y antes de eso, en la división de banca de inversión de BNP en Londres y Madrid. 

Álvaro tiene una doble titulación de E4 (gestión empresarial) en la Universidad ICADE y un BBA de la Universidad de Lancaster.

Antes de unirse a Matrix en 2021, Javier fue Director de proyectos y responsable de desarrollo en Sunco Colombia, anteriormente trabajó para Castellana de Proyectos Solares (Univergy) como Director Comercial y responsable de desarrollo.

Javier es diplomado en gerencia de empresas ganaderas por la Universidad del Norte en Barranquilla y Diplomado en alta gerencia de Unidades Agroindustriales por la Fundación Universitaria San Martin de Barranquilla. 

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2020, Alejandro trabajó como director legal y asesor jurídico  en el negocio de la energía renovable como Canadian Solar, Cox Energy, Vestas y SunEdison, con sede en Madrid (España) y Santiago (Chile).

Previamente trabajó en Cobra en Subestaciones y líneas de Distribución. 

Sergio es Licenciado en Ingeniería Eléctrica por la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid y un Programa de Desarrollo Directivo por el IESE Business School de Madrid. 

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2020, Fernando fue Development Manager Solar PV en ENCE. Antes de esto fue Country Manager de ENCE en New Dheli, India, donde fue responsable del desarrollo e implementación de los proyectos de energía en la India.

Fernando es licenciado en Ventas y Marketing Internacional por el University College of Northern Denmark (UCN) in Aalborg, Denmark.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2021, Mercedes fue vicesecretaria del Consejo de Administración y asesora jurídica en Abengoa, compañía cotizada española de ingeniería y construcción con una amplia experiencia en los sectores de la energía y el agua en todo el mundo. Anteriormente fue Asociada Principal en Uría Menéndez. 

 Mercedes cuenta con una doble licenciatura en Derecho y ADE (E-3) por ICADE (Universidad Pontificia de Comillas-Madrid)

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2020, Paz fue Especialista en Industria en la IFC y antes de eso, trabajó en el BID Invest como Investment Associate.Previamente, trabajó con Acciona en España y Perú. 

Paz tiene un MBA del IE Business School, un MSc en Ingeniería Industrial de la Universidad Pontificia de Comillas ICAI, un MSc en Gestión y Tratamiento de Aguas, Suelos y Residuos de ParisTech, y aprobó el Nivel II del Programa CFA”.

Antes de unirse a Matrix a principios de 2021, Ignacio fue VP del equipo de inversiones del Green Investment Group (Macquarie) en Nueva York, donde trabajó en adquisiciones y desinversiones en las industrias de energía solar fotovoltaica, almacenamiento de baterías, energía eólica onshore y offshore. Anteriormente, Ignacio fue consultor en el equipo de energía de Accenture, trabajando en proyectos estratégicos clave para empresas energéticas líderes y gobiernos a nivel mundial. 

Ignacio tiene un MBA de la UCLA Anderson School of Management y una licenciatura en Administración de Empresas de la Universidad de Cantabria.

Prior to becoming Senior Adviser to Matrix Renewables in 2020, Yoram founded and co-founded several businesses trading in a wide range of areas such as energy, commodities, hi-tech; biotech and real estate operating worldwide, and gained vast expertise in power generation, new ventures and buyouts, private equity transactions and profitable exits.

From 2006 Yoram has focused on power development and investment projects globally. He founded SunRay Renewable Energy, which successfully completed the building of a large scale solar park in Europe in 2010, subsequently sold to SunPower, generating one of the most significant renewable energy transactions within Europe.

In recent years Yoram has continued to develop power projects in several territories across technologies, most notably CCGT natural gas power plants in Israel.

Yoram has sat on the board of directors of several private equity-backed renewable energy development companies.

Yoram studied Economics at the Open University of Tel-Aviv.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2021, Rodrigo trabajó para empresas como Enel, Jenner Renewables, Enertis y Tecinsa, desempeñándose en diversas posiciones asociadas a la construcción, puesta en marcha, operación y gestión de proyectos de energías renovables y subestaciones eléctricas en Chile, involucrado en tecnologías como la solar y la eólica.

Rodrigo es ingeniero electricista de sistemas de potencia por la Universidad de Oriente y posee un diplomado en protecciones eléctricas por la Universidad Simón Bolívar, ambas ubicadas en Venezuela.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2020, Cristina formó parte del equipo asesor de infraestructuras de PwC con sede en Hamburgo. Antes de eso, pasó más de un año trabajando con el equipo de financiación de proyectos de ACS en Madrid. 

Ha trabajado en diversos mercados como Europa, América Latina y África, y en una serie de tecnologías de energías renovables, incluyendo la eólica (onshore/offshore), la solar y la geotérmica. 

Cristina estudió Administración de Empresas y Derecho en la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid y en el ISG.

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix Renewables en 2020, Sergio fue Jefe de Estructuración y Financiación de Trina Solar, trabajando en transacciones de energía solar fotovoltaica en Europa, América Latina, África y Asia. Anteriormente trabajó para Santander Corporate & Investment Banking, Schroders y Credit Suisse en varios puestos con base en Madrid, Santiago de Chile, Londres y Nueva York.

Sergio es licenciado en Administración de Empresas por la Universidad de los Andes en Colombia y la Universidad de Navarra en España y tiene un MBA de IESE Business School.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2020, Caro fue Directora General y miembro de la Junta Directiva de Alarde, una empresa dedicada al desarrollo, la construcción y la explotación de centrales eléctricas de energía renovable, y posteriormente trabajó para Nice Tech, una start-up con tecnología de procesamiento de alimentos que reduce la huella de carbono. 

Caro tiene un MBA por la Universidad de Stanford, CA y una licenciatura en administración de empresas de la European Business School en Madrid, París y Londres.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2021, Luis fue director de operaciones de NEXTracker. Antes de Nextracker, Luis fue vicepresidente, director financiero y director de operaciones de la división C&I de SunEdison en San Francisco. Antes de eso, fue COO de la región EMEA y Latam.

Luis es licenciado en Ingeniería Industrial por la Universidad Pontificia de Comillas y PDD en Dirección General por el IESE Business School. Además, Luis se graduó en el Centro de Estudios Financieros de Madrid con un Máster en Seguridad y Salud.

Chris estudió Ingeniería Mecánica en la Universidad de Cambridge.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2020, Nicolas fue Responsable de Financiación de Proyectos en Jenner Renewables e inmediatamente antes de eso, trabajó en Actis como Director de Inversiones en el Equipo de Energía en Londres. Anteriormente, trabajó con ING en Londres, Nueva York y Bogotá. 

Nicolas tiene un BSc/Diploma en Ingeniería Industrial y un MSc en Finanzas de la Universidad de los Andes en Colombia y un MSc en Asuntos Internacionales-Finanzas de la Universidad de Columbia en Nueva York.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2020, Yoram fundó y cofundó varias empresas que operaban en una amplia gama de áreas como energía, commodities, hi-tech, biotecnología y bienes raíces a nivel mundial, y adquirió amplia experiencia  en la generación de energía, nuevas empresas y adquisiciones, transacciones de private equity y exit rentables.

Desde 2006 Yoram se ha centrado en el desarrollo de la energía y en proyectos de inversión a nivel mundial. Fundó SunRay Renewable Energy, que completó con éxito la construcción en Europa de parques solares a gran escala en 2010, y que posteriormente vendió a SunPower, generando una de las transacciones de energía renovable más importantes de Europa. 

En los últimos años, Yoram ha seguido desarrollando proyectos de energía en varios territorios mediante diversas tecnologías, entre las que destacan las centrales de gas natural CCGT en Israel.

Yoram ha formado parte de la junta directiva de varias empresas de desarrollo de energías renovables respaldadas por capital privado.

Yoram estudió Economía en la Open University de Tel Aviv.

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix en 2022, Iván fue Jefe de Proyecto en Opdenergy.

Anteriormente trabajó en Aldesa Industrial y Cobra en proyectos de Renovables, Subestaciones y Líneas de Distribución.

Iván es Ingeniero Industrial por la Universidad de Oviedo y cuenta con un Programa de Desarrollo Directivo en la Escuela de Negocios IESE de Madrid.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2022, David fue director de operaciones de Urban Grid, y antes de eso el director de operaciones de BayWa r.e. Solar Projects Americas. David ha trabajado mucho en los mercados energéticos de Estados Unidos y México, y ha hecho negocios en Europa, América Latina y Asia.

Se licenció en Biología y Química por la Universidad del Sur de Alabama y obtuvo un MBA por la Universidad Estatal de Colorado.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2023, Veselin fue director de fábrica en Energy Storage Solutions, E22. Durante los últimos 8 años en GranSolar Group Veselin ha sido responsable del desarrollo, ingeniería y producción de soluciones de almacenamiento de energía basadas en VRFB.


Veselin ha participado en el desarrollo desde cero de una pila de electrolizadores alcalinos de 50kW.

Antes de E22, Veselin fue investigador en IMDEA Energía trabajando en diferentes tipos de tecnologías de almacenamiento.
Veselin es licenciado en Ingeniería Energética por la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de Madrid.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2023, Daisy fue Gerente Senior de Desarrollo en Recurrent Energy, donde trabajó en el desarrollo de proyectos solares a escala de servicios públicos y fusiones y adquisiciones. Antes de eso, Daisy fue Analista Senior de Inversiones en CCCC USA, trabajando en la gestión de inversiones en infraestructura global y la evaluación de fusiones y adquisiciones.

Daisy posee un MBA doble por la Universidad de Texas en Austin y la Universidad de Pekín, y una licenciatura en Gestión de Ingeniería y Contabilidad por la Universidad Central de Finanzas y Economía.

Before joining Matrix in 2023, Clara worked at Beon All in One as a Labor Technician, where she supervised the document management of the department itself. She graduated with a double degree in Law and Business Administration from the University of Almeria.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2023, Richard was Senior Director of Asset Management at Hanwha Qcells and prior to that was a Renewable Energy Manager at Duke Energy.
Richard got his start managing generation assets at Enron and has experience managing renewable energy generation assets throughout the U.S.

Richard received his BS in Political Science from Texas A&M University, where he was a member of the Aggie Band, and MBA in International Finance from the University of Notre Dame.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2023, Ignacio worked in Investment Banking as M&A Analyst at Beka Finance. Previously, Ignacio worked as a Consultant at Nfq Advisory.

Ignacio holds a BSc in Biomedical Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) and a MSc in Management (Finance Specialization) from IESE Business School.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2023, Alicia was part of the Project Development team at Capital Energy. Before that, she worked as a Business Development Analyst in ENGIE Spain.

Alicia holds a BSc in Energy Engineering, a MSc in Renewable Energies and Electrical Market from EOI and a MSc in Energy Efficiency for Edification, Industry and Transportation from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix Renewables en 2023, Marta fue Ingeniera de Proyectos como parte del Departamento de Ingeniería y Construcción en Capital Energy donde también llevó a cabo la construcción de un parque eólico en Ayamonte, Huelva. 

Marta tiene una doble licenciatura en Ingeniería Química e Ingeniería de la Energía por la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos y un Máster en Energías Renovables por la Universidad Europea de Madrid.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2023, Marta was Project Engineer as part of Engineering and Construction Department at Capital Energy where she also accomplished the construction of a wind farm in Ayamonte, Huelva. 

Marta holds a double degree in Chemical engineering and Energy engineering from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos and a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy from Universidad Europea de Madrid.

Antes de unirse a Matrix en 2023, Raúl trabajó en EDF Renewables. Previo al ingreso al mundo de la energía renovable, trabajó como HSE Leader para empresas como AES Gener, Andritz, POSCO E&C.

Raúl es Ingeniero en Prevención de Riesgos, Auditor interno en ISO 9001-14001-45001, y se encuentra cursando un Magíster en Sistemas de Gestión QHSE, Gestión del Riesgo y Protección de Datos.

Before joining Matrix in 2023, Raul worked at EDF Renewables. Prior to entering the world of renewable energy, he worked as HSE Leader for companies such as AES Gener, Andritz, POSCO E&C.

Raul is a Risk Prevention Engineer, Internal Auditor in ISO 9001-14001-45001, and is currently studying a Master in QHSE Management Systems, Risk Management and Data Protection.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2023, Daisy was a Senior Development Manager at Recurrent Energy, where she worked on utility scale solar project development and M&A. Prior to that, Daisy was Senior Investment Analyst at CCCC USA, working on global infrastructure investment management and M&A evaluation.

Daisy holds dual MBA degree from University of Texas at Austin and Peking University, and BA in Engineering Management and Accounting from Central University of Finance and Economics.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2023, Richard fue Director Senior de Gestión de Activos en Hanwha Qcells y antes de eso fue Gerente de Energía Renovable en Duke Energy. Richard se inició en la gestión de activos de generación en Enron y tiene experiencia en la gestión de activos de generación de energía renovable en todo EE.UU.

Richard se licenció en Ciencias Políticas por la Universidad A&M de Texas, donde fue miembro de la Aggie Band, y obtuvo un MBA en Finanzas Internacionales por la Universidad de Notre Dame.

Prior to joining Matrix in 2022, Alfredo was Project Construction Manager in STEAG SENS Italy.

Previously he worked within different companies in different countries as Site and Project Manager.

Alfredo holds a Surveyor and Construction Technician Diploma with Specialization in Environment and Geo-Technical Constructions at ITG of Lamezia Terme and he is student in Industrial Engineering Degree course Energy and Nuclear Engineering at University of Rome

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix en 2022, Alfredo fue Director de Construcción de Proyectos en STEAG SENS Italia.

Anteriormente trabajó en diferentes empresas en diferentes países como Jefe de Obra y Jefe de Proyecto.

Alfredo tiene un Diploma de Topógrafo y Técnico de Construcción con Especialización en Medio Ambiente y Construcciones Geo-Técnicas en el ITG de Lamezia Terme y es estudiante de Ingeniería Industrial en el curso de Energía e Ingeniería Nuclear en la Universidad de Roma.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2022, Jorge fue responsable de data engineering y data analytics dentro del departamento corporativo de FP&A en EDP Renewables. Anteriormente, perteneció al departamento de Desarrollo Corporativo de Gestamp Automoción.

Jorge es ingeniero industrial por la Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio y Máster en Dirección Internacional de Proyectos Industriales por la Universidad Pontificia de Comillas. Además, cuenta con un programa avanzado en Data Analytics por Ironhack.

Antes de unirse a Matrix en 2022, Amit fue analista de banca de inversión en energía y recursos naturales en Stifel Financial Corporation, centrándose en operaciones de financiación y fusiones y adquisiciones. Anteriormente, comenzó su carrera como analista de banca de energía en Capital One.

Amit es licenciado en Economía por la UCLA.

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix Renewables en 2022, James fue Consejero General de OCI Solar Power. James ha estado involucrado en proyectos de energía renovable durante más de una década y ha representado ampliamente a contratistas y proveedores de equipos en proyectos de energía renovable tanto solar como eólica de tamaños que van desde 1MW hasta más de 300MW en todo Estados Unidos y Canadá.

James se licenció en Derecho por la Universidad de Washington en San Luis y se graduó en la Universidad de Marquette.

Before joining Matrix Renewables in 2022, Jorge was responsible for data engineering and data analytics within the corporate FP&A department at EDP Renewables. Previously, he was part of the Corporate Development department at Gestamp Automoción.

Jorge holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Alfonso X el Sabio University and a Master in International Industrial Project Management from Comillas Pontifical University. He also has an advanced programme in Data Analytics from Ironhack.

Prior to joining Matrix in 2022, Amit was an Energy & Natural Resources Investment Banking Analyst at Stifel Financial Corporation, focusing on financing and M&A transactions. Previously, he started his career as an Energy Banking Analyst at Capital One.

Amit holds a B.A. in Economics from UCLA.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2022, James was General Counsel for OCI Solar Power. James has been involved in renewable energy projects for over a decade and has extensively represented contractors and equipment suppliers on both solar and wind renewable energy projects ranging in size from 1MW to over 300MW throughout the United States and Canada.

James earned his law degree from Washington University in St. Louis and is a graduate of Marquette University.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2022, Tian trabajó como consultor de planificación de transmisión en Burns & McDonnell. Antes de eso, fue desarrollador de software de sistemas de energía en Siemens, donde desarrolló y apoyó el sistema de gestión de la energía para varias ISO y empresas de servicios públicos.

Se doctoró en Ingeniería Eléctrica por la Universidad A&M de Texas y es un ingeniero profesional autorizado en el estado de Texas.

Antes de unirse a Matrix en 2023, Clara trabajó en Beon All in One como Técnico laboral, donde supervisaba la gestión documental del propio departamento. Graduada en un doble grado en Derecho y Administración y dirección de Empresas en la Universidad de Almería.

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix Renewables en 2023, Ignacio trabajó en Banca de Inversión como Analista de Fusiones y Adquisiciones en Beka Finance.
Anteriormente, Ignacio trabajó como Consultor en Nfq Advisory.

Ignacio es Ingeniero Biomédico por la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) y Máster en Dirección de Empresas (Especialidad Finanzas) por el IESE Business School.

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix Renewables en 2022, Juan Miguel fue ingeniero de Proyectos en Powertec, Previamente trabajó en Turboven Company Inc.

Juan Miguel es Ingeniero Electricista egresado de la Universidad de Carabobo en Venezuela y realizó estudio en la Universidad de Chile para la reválida de título de Ingeniero Civil Eléctrico.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2023, Álvaro fue Director de Estructura y Financiación de Proyectos en Abei Energy & Infrastructure, una IPP con sede en Madrid. Anteriormente trabajó en el departamento de Project Finance de CAF.

Álvaro es licenciado en Administración y Dirección de Empresas por ICADE y MBA por el IEB.

Antes de unirse a Matrix en 2023, Martina trabajó para el equipo de Cuentas a Pagar de Nalco en Argentina.

Posteriormente trabajó como Recruiter en Alemania donde finalizó sus estudios. Martina tiene una doble licenciatura en Estudios Empresariales Culturales en Argentina y Alemania.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2023, Antonio trabajó como Jefe de Adquisiciones Indirectas en Relativity Space, un fabricante de cohetes de impresión 3D.

Justo antes de ese papel, ocupó el cargo de Gerente Senior de CapEx Procurement and Logistics en EDP Renewables North America, donde su principal objetivo era la adquisición estratégica de activos eólicos y solares.

Antes de ocupar estos puestos, trabajó en Apple como Director de Suministros Globales para la fabricación de iPhone en India y China.

Es licenciado en Administración de Empresas por la Universidad de Houston, con especialización en Aprovisionamiento Estratégico.

Antes de unirse a Matrix en 2023, Drew trabajó como Consejero General Asociado en OCI Solar Power LLC – un desarrollador de energía solar y ESS con sede en San Antonio, Texas. Antes de OCI, Drew trabajó para una empresa de capital privado de petróleo y gas.

Antes de estudiar Derecho, Drew sirvió en el Cuerpo de Marines de los Estados Unidos como piloto de helicóptero UH-1 y controlador aéreo avanzado.

Drew es licenciado en Estudios Internacionales por el Rhodes College de Memphis (Tennessee) y licenciado en Derecho por la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Baylor.

Before joining Matrix in 2023, Drew worked as the Associate General Counsel at OCI Solar Power LLC – a solar and ESS developer based in San Antonio, Texas. Prior to OCI, Drew worked for an upstream oil and gas private equity company. Before law school, Drew served in the United States Marine Corps as a UH-1 helicopter pilot and a forward air controller.

Drew holds a BA in International Studies from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, and a JD from the Baylor University School of Law.

Before joining Matrix Renewables in 2023, Antonio served as the Head of Indirect Procurement at Relativity Space, a 3D printing Rocket Manufacturer. Just prior to that role, he held the position of Senior Manager of CapEx Procurement and Logistics at EDP Renewables North America, where his primary focused on the strategic procurement of wind and solar assets. Preceding these roles, he worked at Apple as a Global Supply Manager, for iPhone manufacturing in both India and China.

He received his BBA from the University of Houston with a focus in Strategic Sourcing.

Before Joining Matrix in 2023, Martina worked for the Accounts Payable Team at Nalco in Argentina. Afterwards she worked as a Recruiter in Germany where she finished her studies.

Martina holds a double BA in Cultural Business Studies in Argentina and Germany.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2023, Veselin was a Factory manager at Energy Storage Solutions, E22. During the last 8 years in GranSolar Group Veselin has been responsible for the development, engineering and production of energy storage solutions based on VRFB.

Veselin has participated into the development from scratch of Alkaline electrolyser stack of 50kW. Prior to E22, Veselin was a researcher in IMDEA Energy working of different kinds of storage technologies.

Veselin holds a degree in Energy engineering from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables, Manuel trabajó como abogado en BH Compliance, como asociado en el equipo de Energía, Minería e Infraestructura de Baker Mckenzie Chile y como abogado en el equipo de Medio Ambiente, Minería y Regulación de Morales & Besa Abogados. 

Manuel es licenciado en Derecho por la Universidad de Los Andes, Santiago de Chile, y posee un diploma de postgrado en Medio Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible por la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables, Manuel worked as a lawyer in BH Compliance, as an associate in the Energy, Mining, and Infrastructure team of Baker Mckenzie Chile and as a lawyer in the Environmental, Mining and Regulatory team of Morales & Besa Abogados. 

Manuel holds a law degree from Universidad de Los Andes, Santiago, Chile, as well as a postgraduate diploma on Environmental and Sustainable Development from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

Alejandro es licenciado en derecho por la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, y posee diplomas de LLM del IE Law School y del King’s College de Londres.

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix en 2023, Carolina trabajó para Corporate & Investment Banking en el Banco Santander durante 13 años en diversas funciones de Gestión de Préstamos y Riesgo de Crédito de Financiación Estructurada con sede en Madrid.

Carolina es licenciada en Administración y Dirección de Empresas por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2023, Ross worked at Invenergy as a Senior Associate on the Business Transformation team, where he worked cross functionally on process improvement and change management initiatives. Previously he worked as a Risk Advisory Associate for KPMG in their New York Financial Services practice.

Ross holds a bachelor’s degree in information technology and a master’s degree in information management with a focus on technology public policy from Syracuse University’s School of Information Studies.

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix en 2023, Luis Miguel fue Director de Wind & Solar en Statkraft, siendo responsable de la estrategia de negocio, desarrollo y estructuración de proyectos eólicos y solares a escala comercial a través de greenfield, co-desarrollos y fusiones y adquisiciones en Iberia.

Anteriormente, fue Director de Desarrollo de Negocio Corporativo en FRV.

Luis Miguel es Licenciado en Ciencias Ambientales por la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid y Executive MBA por EAE Business School.

Prior to joining Matrix in 2023, Luis Miguel was Head of Wind & Solar at Statkraft, having overall responsibility for setting-up the business strategy, development, and structuring of utility-scale solar and wind projects through greenfield, co-developments, and M&A transactions in Iberia.

Previously, he was Corporate Business Development Head in FRV.

Luis Miguel holds a Degree in Environmental Science from Universidad Autonoma of Madrid and an Executive MBA from EAE Business School.

Prior to joining Matrix in 2023, Carolina worked for Corporate & Investment Banking in Banco Santander for 13 years in various roles of Loan Management and Credit Risk of Structured Finance based in Madrid.

Carolina holds a BA in Business Administration from Universidad Complutense de Madrid

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2023, Álvaro was a Structure and Project Finance Manager at Abei Energy & Infrastructure, an IPP based in Madrid. Previously worked in the Project Finance department at CAF.

Álvaro holds a degree in Business Administration from ICADE and an MBA from IEB.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2023, Ross trabajó en Invenergy como Asociado Senior en el equipo de Transformación de Negocios, donde trabajó de forma transversal en iniciativas de mejora de procesos y gestión del cambio. Anteriormente trabajó como Asociado de Asesoramiento de Riesgos para KPMG en su práctica de Servicios Financieros de Nueva York.

Ross es licenciado en tecnologías de la información y posee un máster en gestión de la información con especialización en política pública tecnológica por la Escuela de Estudios de la Información de la Universidad de Siracusa.

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix Renewables en 2023, Nicolás formó parte del equipo de Desarrollo de Negocio correspondiente a la cartera de Hibridación en Engie España.

Anteriormente, trabajó como Técnico de Gestión de Activos en Eolia Renovables. Nicolás es Licenciado en Ingeniería Eléctrica, Máster en Energías Renovables y Mercado Eléctrico por la EOI.

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix Renewables en 2023, Sofía fue Directora de RRHH de PLD Space.

Anteriormente, trabajó en el departamento de Recursos Humanos en otras industrias como la farmacéutica y la consultoría de ingeniería.

Sofía es Licenciada en Lenguas Modernas, Cultura y Comunicación por la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid y Máster en Dirección de Recursos Humanos por la UDIMA-CEF. Actualmente cursa un MBA en EAE Business School.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2023, Sofía was the HR Manager of PLD Space.

Previously, she worked within the Human Resources department in other industries such as pharmaceutics and engineering consulting.

Sofía holds a University degree in Modern Languages, Culture and Communication from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a Master’s degree in human resources management from UDIMA-CEF. Currently, she’s studying an MBA in EAE Business School.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2023, Nicolás was part of the Business Development correspondent to portfolio’s Hybridization team at Engie Spain. Before that, he worked as Asset Management Technical in Eolia Renovables. Nicolás holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering, a MSc in Renewable Energies and Electrical Market from EOI.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2022, Tian worked as a Transmission Planning Consultant at Burns & McDonnell. Prior to that, he was a Power Systems Software Developer at Siemens, where he developed and supported the Energy Management System for various ISOs and utilities.

He received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University, and he is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas.

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix en 2022. Juan Pablo ha trabajado en consultoras multinacionales (técnicas y jurídicas) donde ha participado en una amplia gama de proyectos tanto para clientes públicos como privados. Es licenciado en Hidrogeología y en Derecho y tiene un MBA.

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix Renewables en 2022, Gabriela fue Coordinadora de Migración de ERP en Cineplanet(Perú).

También tiene experiencia en el sector de energía habiendo trabajado en el área de contabilidad financiera de “Enerfín Sociedad de Energía” y “Discelcide”.

Gabriela tiene una licenciatura en contabilidad por la Universidad César Vallejo de Lima-Perú y tiene una Maestría en Alta Dirección por la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de Madrid.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2022, Sebastian trabajó como jefe de desarrollo en Solcor Chile. Sebastian tiene una amplia experiencia en ingeniería y construcción en proyectos fotovoltaicos de PMGD y PMG en Chile.

Sebastian es ingeniero mecánico por la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2022, Juan worked as senior associate at Morales Y Besa law firm in Chile. Before that he was legal affairs manager at SCL Energía Activa S.A. and previously he served as Regional Secretary of Ministry of Environment, Government of Chile.

Juan holds a law degree from Universidad de Los Andes, and a LLM granted by Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland

Prior joining Matrix in 2022, Antonio held different responsibilities in Business Development and was the head of Environmental Engineering Team in Enel Green Power. Previously he led Remediation Public Office, before that he owned a Spin-off in Patent Consultant field.

Antonio holds a Degree in Environmental Engineering and in 2022 he achieved an Executive Corporate Master in SDA Bocconi.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2022, Allen was a Senior Director of Development at Ecoplexus and immediately before that, a Director at Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners in funds management. Previously, he worked at First Solar and Recurrent Energy in development, at Baker Botts in finance and global infrastructure law and at Price Waterhouse in accounting.

Allen holds a BA in Accounting and Philosophy from Southwestern University, a JD from The University of Texas and an MBA from UC Berkeley.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2022, Lindsey fue asesora jurídica en Travel + Leisure Co. Anteriormente, fue asesora jurídica en Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, Inc.

Lindsey tiene una licenciatura de la Universidad de Florida y un JD de la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Stetson.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2022, Clay trabajó como Gerente Senior de Desarrollo en Hanwha Q-CELLS, y antes de eso como Director de Desarrollo en DynaSolar y Onyx Renewable Partners (Grupo Blackstone).

Clay ha trabajado extensamente en la región de WECC y en los mercados de energía de Estados Unidos, donde dirigió la creación y ejecución de carteras de energía solar y almacenamiento.
Se licenció en Economía Política en la Universidad de Berkeley y obtuvo un MBA en la Erasmus Business School – Rotterdam School of Management.

Antes de unirse a Matrix en 2022, Roberto fue Jefe de Desarrollo de Negocios en E-Way Finance. Roberto ha logrado casi 20 años de experiencia en los sistemas de energía, cubriendo una amplia gama de funciones y responsabilidades en toda la cadena de valor.

Ha trabajado en diferentes mercados como Europa, Oriente Medio y África y en empresas de primer nivel.
Roberto tiene un máster en Ingeniería Ambiental en el Politécnico de Bari, Italia.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2022, Elías ocupó puestos de gestión de ingeniería en Vesper Energy, Recurrent Energy, Sunpower y Sunedison. Elías aporta más de 10 años de experiencia en el ciclo completo de proyectos de energía solar a escala de servicios públicos y de energía solar más almacenamiento, con más de 1 GW en diseño detallado/construcción/comisión en los Estados Unidos; además, 2,5 GW en diferentes etapas de desarrollo en varias regiones de los Estados Unidos y 1 GW en diferentes mercados de LATAM.

Elías tiene una licencia de ingeniero profesional del estado de Texas y una licenciatura en ingeniería civil de la Universidad de Texas en El Paso.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2022, María Dolores fue Directora de Proyectos de Desarrollo en Voltalia. Anteriormente, trabajó en Capital Energy y Aldesa Group.
Tiene una amplia experiencia en la gestión y desarrollo de proyectos de energías renovables en Iberia y México.

María Dolores es licenciada en Ingeniería Electrónica y tiene un Máster en Energías Renovables Distribuidas por la Universidad de Córdoba y un certificado de Modelización Financiera – M&A por el IEB (Instituto Estudios Bursátiles).

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2022, Lindsey was Legal Counsel at Travel + Leisure Co. Previously, she was Legal Counsel at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, Inc.

Lindsey holds a BS degree from the University of Florida and a JD from Stetson University College of Law.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2022, Jesse was Director of Construction at Photosol US. Previously, he was Senior Construction Manager at Origis Energy; Senior Construction Manager at SPower Energy/AES and a Senior PV Construction Monitoring Specialist at Black & Veatch.

He received his accredited BARCH from the California College of the Arts.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2022, Clay worked as a Sr. Manager of Development at Hanwha Q-CELLS, and prior to that as Director of Development at DynaSolar and Onyx Renewable Partners (Blackstone Group). Clay has worked extensively in the WECC region and across US power markets, where he led the origination and execution of Solar plus Storage portfolios.

He received his BA in Political Economy from U.C. Berkeley, and an MBA from the Erasmus Business School – Rotterdam School of Management.

Prior joining Matrix in 2022, Roberto was Chief of Business development in E-Way Finance. Roberto has achieved almost 20yrs experience in the Energy systems covering a wide range of roles and responsibilities in the entire value chain.

Working in different markets such as Europe, Middle East and Africa and in top-tier Companies.
Roberto has a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering at Polytechnic in Bari, Italy.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2022, Elias held engineering management roles at Vesper Energy, Recurrent Energy, Sunpower, and Sunedison. Elias brings more than 10 years of experience in the full-cycle of utility-scale solar and solar plus storage projects with over 1 GW in detailed design/construction/commissioning, in the US; plus, 2.5 GW in different development stages across various US Regions and 1 GW in different LATAM markets.

Elias holds a Professional Engineer License from the state of Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2022, Maria Dolores was Development Project Manager at Voltalia. Previously, she worked at Capital Energy and Aldesa Group.
She has vast experience across managing and developing renewable energy projects in Iberia and Mexico.

Maria Dolores holds a BSc in Electronic Engineering and Master’s degree in Distributed Renewables Energies from University of Córdoba and a Financial Modelling – M&A certificate from IEB (Instituto Estudios Bursatiles).

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2022, Sebastian worked as chief of development at Solcor Chile. Sebastian has extensive engineering and construction experience in PMGD and PMG photovoltaic projects in Chile.

Sebastian holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2022, Miguel fue desarrollador de proyectos en el Grupo Gransolar. Tiene experiencia en la promoción y gestión de proyectos fotovoltaicos en el sureste de España. También apoyó al equipo de EPC durante la construcción.

Miguel es Ingeniero de Caminos, Canales y Puertos por la UPV en Valencia y Máster en Ingeniería Civil por la UCAM en Murcia. También ha trabajado en un innovador proyecto de IOT con la Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas de St Pölten en Austria.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2022, Miguel was Project Developer at Gransolar Group. He has experience promoting and managing PV Projects around the Southeast of Spain. He also supported the EPC team during the construction.

Miguel holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from the UPV in Valencia and MSc in Civil Engineering from UCAM in Murcia. He also worked on an innovative IOT Project with St Pölten University of Applied Sciences in Austria.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2022, Karen worked as a Grid Connection Engineer in OPDENERGY . Previous to this, she worked in IKOS GROUP for Schneider Electric developing protection coordination studies for Europe, LATAM, and Africa. Before IKOS GROUP experience, Karen worked in IZHARIA as a Power Substations Engineer for the renewable sector mostly in Spain, Africa, and Central America.

Karen holds an Electrical engineering degree from Carabobo’s University in Venezuela, specializing in electrical power systems.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2022, Morris era el Jefe de Gestión de Activos y IT en oEnergy, gestionando una cartera de 20 PMGD en Chile y diseñando una plataforma web todo en uno donde los inversores pueden monitorear todos sus activos.

Morris es ingeniero de sistemas por la Universidad Santiago Mariño de Venezuela.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2022, Philipp was Director of Project Finance for Origis Energy and immediately before, VP of M&A for Sonnedix. Previously he worked for ThomasLloyd, UniCredit and Credit Suisse in various roles in Zurich, Munich, and New York.

Philipp has a Master Degree in Business Administration/Economics with specialization in Finance and Capital Markets from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2022, Allen fue Director Senior de Desarrollo en Ecoplexus e inmediatamente antes, Director en Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners en la gestión de fondos. Anteriormente, trabajó en First Solar y Recurrent Energy en desarrollo, en Baker Botts en finanzas y derecho de infraestructura global y en Price Waterhouse en contabilidad.

Allen es licenciado en Contabilidad y Filosofía por la Southwestern University, tiene un JD por la Universidad de Texas y un MBA por la UC Berkeley.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2022, Patricia was HSQE Technician at ISG. Patricia Holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a master’s degree in Integrated Management Systems. She is also an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2022, Sofía was part of the investment and M&A team at China Three Gorges.
Sofía holds a dual degree of E6 (business management + international relations) in ICADE University and an MBA as part of the ICEX scholarships program (Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade)

Prior to joining Matrix in 2022. Juan Pablo has worked in multinational consultancy firms (technical and legal) where he has been involved in a wide range of projects either for public and private clients. He has a degree in Hydrogeology and in Law and an MBA.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2022, Juan Miguel was a Project Engineer at Powertec, previously working at Turboven Company Inc. 

Juan Miguel is an Electrical Engineer graduated from the University of Carabobo in Venezuela and studied at the University of Chile for the revalidation of his degree in Civil Electrical Engineering.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2022, Elena fue gerente de contabilidad en Guzmán Energy, donde supervisaba el equipo del departamento de contabilidad.

Elena tiene una licenciatura y un máster en contabilidad por la FIU y la FAU respectivamente.
Elena es contable pública certificada.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2022, Javier trabajó en Banca de Inversión como Asociado Senior de Fusiones y Adquisiciones en Haitong Bank.
Anteriormente, Javier trabajó como analista de fusiones y adquisiciones en Lazard.

Javier es licenciado en Empresariales y Finanzas y tiene un máster en Inversión y Finanzas, ambos por la Universidad de Durham.

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix Renewables en 2022, Sofía formó parte del equipo de inversiones y fusiones y adquisiciones de China Three Gorges.

Sofía tiene una doble titulación de E6 (gestión empresarial + relaciones internacionales) en la Universidad ICADE y un MBA como parte del programa de becas del ICEX (Instituto Español de Comercio Exterior).

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix en 2022, Claudia fue miembro del Departamento Técnico de MAGMA (GRUPO ENHOL), coordinando el mantenimiento así como la construcción de diferentes plantas fotovoltaicas.

Claudia es licenciada en Ingeniería Química por la UCM (Universidad Complutense de Madrid).

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2022, Elena was an Accounting Manager at Guzman Energy, where she was overseeing the accounting department team.

Elena holds Accounting Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from FIU and FAU respectively.
Elena is a certified public accountant

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2022, Javier worked in Investment Banking as M&A Senior Associate at Haitong Bank. Previously, Javier worked as an M&A analyst at Lazard.

Javier holds a BSc in Business and Finance and an MSc in Investment and Finance both from Durham University.

Prior to joining Matrix in 2022, Claudia was a member of the Technical Department of MAGMA (ENHOL GROUP), coordinating the maintenance as well as the construction of different PV plants. Claudia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the UCM (Complutense University of Madrid).

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix en 2022, Antonio desempeñó diferentes responsabilidades en el área de Desarrollo de Negocio y fue el responsable del equipo de Ingeniería Medioambiental en Enel Green Power. Anteriormente dirigió la Oficina Pública de Remediación en Italia, y antes de eso fue propietario de una Spin-off en el campo de la Consultoría de Patentes.

Antonio es licenciado en Ingeniería Ambiental y en 2022 obtuvo un Master Corporativo Ejecutivo en SDA Bocconi

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2022, Isabel fue Directora de Gestión de Activos en Capital Energy, donde previamente fue Directora de Organización y Procesos. Anteriormente, trabajó en EDP Renewables . Inició su carrera profesional en Made, empresa del Grupo Gamesa.

Isabel es licenciada en Organización Industrial por la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid y tiene la certificación PMP. Es Black Belt Lean Six-Sigma por la Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña.

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix Renewables en 2022, Lucía formó parte del equipo de gestión de proyectos en Capital Energy.

Lucía es licenciada en Ingeniería Energética por la Universidad Carlos III (UC3M) y tiene un Máster en Energías Renovables por la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2022, Sergio fue asociado en Capital Energy Quantum. Anteriormente trabajó en el departamento de Desarrollo Corporativo, Estrategia y Fusiones y Adquisiciones de Capital Energy y previamente trabajó en el departamento de Infraestructuras y Desarrollo Corporativo de Sumitomo Corporation.

Sergio es Ingeniero Industrial por la Universidad de La Coruña (España), Máster en Ingeniería Industrial por ICAI y MBA por ICADE (Universidad Pontificia de Comillas).

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2022, Sergio was an Associate at Capital Energy Quantum. Before he worked in the Corporate Development, Strategy and M&A department at Capital Energy and previously he worked in the Infrastructure and Corporate Development department at Sumitomo Corporation.

Sergio holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de La Coruña (Spain), a MSc in Industrial Engineering from ICAI and an MBA from ICADE (Universidad Pontificia de Comillas).

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2022, Lucía was part of the Project Management team at Capital Energy.

Lucía holds a Bachelor’s degree in Energy Engineering from Universidad Carlos III (UC3M) and a Master´s degree in Renewable Energy from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2022, Isabel was Asset Management Director in Capital Energy, where previously she was Organization & Processes Director. Previously, she worked in EDP Renewables . She started her professional career in Made, a company of Gamesa Group.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2022, Jesse fue Director de Construcción en Photosol US. Anteriormente, fue Director de Construcción Senior en Origis Energy; Director de Construcción Senior en SPower Energy/AES y Especialista Senior en Supervisión de Construcción FV en Black & Veatch.
Recibió su acreditado BARCH por California College of the Arts.

Antes de incorporarse a Matrix Renewables en 2022, Philipp fue director de financiación de proyectos en Origis Energy e inmediatamente antes, vicepresidente de fusiones y adquisiciones en Sonnedix. Anteriormente trabajó para ThomasLloyd, UniCredit y Credit Suisse en varias funciones en Zúrich, Múnich y Nueva York.

Philipp es licenciado en Administración de Empresas/Economía con especialización en Finanzas y Mercados de Capitales por la Universidad de St. Gallen, Suiza.

Antes de unirse a Matrix Renewables en 2022, Juan trabajó como asociado senior en la firma de abogados Morales Y Besa en Chile. Anteriormente fue gerente de asuntos legales en SCL Energía Activa S.A. y previamente se desempeñó como Secretario Regional del Ministerio del Medio Ambiente, Gobierno de Chile.

Juan es licenciado en Derecho por la Universidad de Los Andes, y tiene un LLM otorgado por la Lewis and Clark Law School de Portland.

Prior to joining Matrix Renewables in 2020, Nicolas was Head of Project Finance at Jenner Renewables and immediately before that, working in Actis as an Investment Principal in the Energy Team in London. Previously, he worked with ING in London, New York and Bogota. 

Nicolas holds a BSc/Diploma in Industrial Engineering and a MSc in Finance from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia and a MSc International Affairs-Finance from Columbia University in New York.
